抄録: This paper aims to compare the differences of activities of children’s complaining to teachers between Japan and China. The contents are shown from two sections. Firstly, we analyze how the activities of children’s complaining to teachers in China are evaluated and discussed, and what special meanings are attached to theses activities. Secondly, questionnaire surveys on the evaluation about children’s complaints to teachers between Japanese and Chinese female students are made. The study on children’s complaining to teachers is few in Japan, but extremely much in China. Therefore, while doing the questionnaire surveys, we make two assumptions: Japanese think it bad to do complaints to teachers and Chinese regard it highly in contrast. However, towards the seven kinds of activities of complaining, Japanese students regard five complaining activities highly while Chinese students give good evaluation only to three activities according to our survey results and it is found that Japanese are more inclined to do go good evaluation to children’s complaining. On the other hand, among those seven complaining activates, there is distinct evaluation difference on the activity of children’s revenge. On this point, 46.7% of Chinese interviewers think it receivable and only 10.2% of Japanese interviewers give plus evaluation to it.
