抄録: In this study, we investigated bilateral coordinated movement of upper limbs during tempo keep and tempo change in play of Japanese Drum. Twelve subjects participated in this experiment and divided into experts (N =6) and novices (N=6) according to years of experience. Subjects performed playing Japanese Drum in both cases that tempo is held (Tempo keep task) and tempo is change (Tempo change task). These tasks were performed under conditions of different tempo : Tempo keep task is performed by three tempo(60bpm,120bpm,180bpm), Tempo change task is performed two tempo (60bpm-120bpm, 90bpm-120bpm). Movement time and joint angle (shoulder, elbow and wrist) were recorded. As a result, in both tasks, Experts performed large movement of upper limbs compare with novices in spite of high accuracy and reproducibility were shown. About bilateral coordi- nated movement of upper limbs, in Tempo keep task, independence movement showed in all joint under 60bpm condition for the experts. In addition, as tempo becomes quick, experts changed pattern of shoulder joints from independence movement to alternative movement. In tempo change task, pattern of shoulder joint that independence movement and mutual movement combined was shown for the experts, but not for the novices. In addition, face the change of tempo, experts performed by leading of the left upper limbs, while novices performed simultaneous movement of bilateral upper limbs.
